A bit of interesting history: 1795 it became compulsory for British sailors to drink a daily ration of lime juice to prevent scurvy. Hence the term 'limeys' used by Americans to describe the British!
Mr. Lauchlan Rose, who founded Rose's shipping company in 1865, manufactured lime juice cordial for his ships' crews. But what to do with all the left over peel and flesh? By 1930, the company had started to produce lime marmalade.
This orange marmalade is a newer flavour than lime or lemon & lime. Quite popular in its own right. Made only with oranges and sugar.
