Treacle is much the same as molasses or unrefined sugar syrup. Great for flavorings, cooking or baking, where ever you need that strong molasses, toffee-like taste. Can also be used in the home brewing process to darken beer or use Lyle's Black Treacle to make particularly rich, dark, moist cakes, toffee and Christmas puddings.
