The original Scottish biscuit maker was McVitie & Price, Ltd. established in 1830 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Hobnobs brand was launched in 1985 and, subsequently, McVitie's created a milk chocolate variant followed by dark (plain) chocolate and Hobnob Creams.
Hobnobs are an excellent source of fibre and, recently, Hobnobs have measurably reduced their sodium and saturated fat contents.
Ingredients: Rolled oat (38%), Wholemeal Wheat Flour (23%), Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate, Ammonium Bicarbonate), Salt.
